Once, the ocean was Amir’s world. Growing up as a first-generation immigrant, surfing became both his freedom and his prayer. Three years ago, a devastating injury shattered that dream. Doctors said he might never walk normally, let alone surf again. In the darkest moments, his faith and his community held him up. Last year, Amir finally stepped back into the water. The first attempts were clumsy, but each wave was a victory—a testament to healing, resilience, and the courage to begin again.
