A traditional festival held in Matogata, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture. Men carry mikoshi (portable shrines) and clash them against each other in powerful, dramatic displays. The goal is for the mikoshi to remain standing without falling, making it an incredibly intense and thrilling event.
