Passed this tree many many times while cycling. One time I thought when I finish my cycling round, I grab my photo gear and go back there. Decided and done. This is not that shot though. I went back to the spot a few days later and took more time to refine my composition. Mounted the wideangle lens on the camera and got closer to the tree, the foreground flower and the ground. And made the shot. (Focus stack) Zurich Oberland, Switzerland
Born in 1979, I am an amateur photographer living in Switzerland in the surroundings of Zurich. In my spare time and when travelling I take joy in doing photography. Although I generally do not consider myself a very patient person, making pictures is often relaxing and calming and I can easily spend an hour or two in the same spot taking it all in, finding compositions, refining a composition and waiting for the light. I focus on landscape and cityscape photography. For quite some time now I feel myself more and more drawn to landscapes – where I am trying to find my masterpiece shot. ;-)
