My dog's first visit to a beach, on the South Coast of New South Wales. He was very brave, a small dog coping with the presence of such a massive and unfamiliar force as the sea. The moment was caught on the fly, the autofocus locking on perfectly. A minor correction was needed to straighten the horizon. B/W was always how I had envisaged any promising results from this visit.
Born in 1972; graduated from Macquarie University in 1995 (B.A. Mass Communications). Moved to the country in 1996. Began caring for my parents, in Sydney, in 2001. Have lived with bipolar disorder since an early age, am now receiving a pension. A highlight, photographically speaking, has been the solo exhibition I recently held at the Wollongong Art Gallery: "The Charm of Things Hidden In Plain View". Also love poetry and composing music in various genres.
