My daughter was driving me home from the grocery store when this appeared, surely the largest and most spectacular sunset I've ever seen. This proves in my mind that all things are possible, even things close to home.
I didn’t take up photography until I had retired from my “career” job. I had been the Assistant Director of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History Museum, in charge of the Exhibit Program where I had the opportunity to meet and learn from many scientists and to see many beautiful things from nature, which inspired me every day.
