Sunset in the mountains of Patagonia captivated me. In this image, I isolate a portion of the landscape for a closer look. The view, the moment - is not lost on me. It feels intimate and fleeting, as if the land is aware of the light, holding it along the ridgeline for a breath before it's gone.

Dan is a photographer based in Chicago, IL. He was born and raised in Glens Falls, NY and graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelors in Business Administration, with majors in Management Science and Marketing. After 33 years, Dan retired from Xerox Corporation, where he held positions in sales, marketing, and leadership, including VP of Sales and Marketing. Dan is an Instructor at Chicago Photography Classes and volunteers with FreshLens Chicago, an organization that provides tuition free photography and life skills programs for under-resourced Chicago youth.
