This work was taken at Happo-one in the Northern Alps of Japan. During the harsh winter season, bad weather continues, so it's rare to look up at the mountains. This work depicts a beautiful, sublime mountain emerging from its stature and gazing down at the world below. I wanted to express the awe and nobility of the mountains.
