A serpentine road winds through Hawaii’s coastal cliffs as golden light cuts across the ocean and land. When I look at this image, I feel both small and limitless, as anyone suspended above the earth may. This photo captures not just a place, but a perspective shift.
Hi, I’m Ayush. Photography, for me, has always been less about freezing time and more about framing the questions we often overlook. It’s about abstract expression, about emotion. I’ve learned that photographs should never come at the expense of truly living a moment—they should emerge from it. My journey with photography began during the COVID-19 outbreak, and it has never left me. Over time, it’s has become one of my deepest forms of communication. What draws me back again and again is the possibility that an image can hold both beauty and discomfort, both truth and imagination.
