Lions and Elephants

As the ladies of this pride focused their attention on my position, a nearby group of elephants were vocalizing their annoyance with this prides proximity with distinct rumblings & growls. As they topped the knoll & edged closer, their agitation became more pronounced. Already having confronted & driven off this particular bunch of felines, their patience now seemed gone. The lionesses were stubborn, choosing to ignore them. Within moments of cresting the hilltop & entering the background of the photo session, several of the allomothers charged & drove this group from the area yet again.
