A line of fragile bodies, each enclosed in their own transparent cube. They are near, yet unable to reach each other. This image expresses the quiet pain of isolation within proximity— the longing to connect, the impossibility of touch, and the boundaries we build to survive. The cube serves as both a shelter and a wall. Through this image, I invite viewers to reflect on their own invisible distance from others.
She began creating photographic artworks in 2010 and has since focused on exploring emotional landscapes and dreamlike visual narratives. Her work often deals with themes such as escape, emotional shelter, and quiet isolation. Honma's photographs have been used in book covers and exhibited in various shows in Japan. She continues to create series that blur the boundaries between reality and the imagined.
