This image conveys the special atmosphere of the forest into a poetic visual language. The beech trees, with their light trunks covered in lichen, set subtle accents in the deep green and lend the image a sense of lightness. The painting thrives on the tension between stillness and movement. The bright structures appear like dancing traces in the greenery. Made with camera movement and analog large format 4x5".

I combine photography and nature to create images that speak a silent and mystical yet haunting language. I prefer realistic images that appear natural and subtle and represent landscapes without alterations in order to remind the viewer of the beauty of nature without detours via abstraction. I describe myself as a “light painter”. I capture the subtle nuances of light to create works that show the beauty and depth of nature in a unique form of artistic expression. I mainly use a large-format analog camera to immerse in the deep silence of nature to capture a genuine vision of reality.
