We do not always know where we come from. My memory does not reach far, and I feel more than I know that what has passed has not disappeared. Everything is unclear, often tangled and misty. The more I try to understand, the more I lose myself. And yet something keeps calling me. Wandering through the labyrinth of (not)my own stories, I return to the same places, to the same figures that, though unfamiliar, never feel truly strange. Once I felt the weight of this past; today I find strength in it and feel myself growing from it. Though I still know little, I no longer run. I breathe. I am.
