This photo captures the moment when a gap briefly opens up in the cloud-shrouded mountain peak, allowing light to stream in. A lonely peak rises in silence through a gap in the drifting clouds. In this fleeting moment, light pierces the mist, creating a sense of the fragile balance between strength and impermanence. The mountain represents indomitable spirit, the dense clouds represent uncertainty, and the warm ray of light represents the possibility of rebirth. I was suddenly greeted by this view while riding the mountain railway towards Gornergrat in the rain.
