Finding the best angle for this happenstance was exciting! The rain over the Sea of Japan seems to be caught in a basin formed by the Tottori Sand Dunes. Tottori is definitely under the radar for foreign tourists like me. I hope this photo convinces more people to visit this side of Japan!
