The peaceful and multi-layered landscape of Uig Sands on Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland after sunset. This image was made at a time of personal emotional significance. My experience of this unique landscape was purifying and healing as I journeyed to and from love in my life and in myself. The images evoke love, grief and loss, and my search for meaning in the land as an external embodiment of my inner landscape.
