Étretat coastline needs no introduction - it's a world-renowned heaven for painters and photographers alike. A place that enchants with its distinctive atmosphere. Though countless artists have painted and photographed this place, each one strives, struggles, and will continue to seek something uniquely their own. Often, the course of events is steered by the weather, an inseparable part of landscape photography, which brings new dimensions to each scene. A stunning cliff and a long exposure (482.5 seconds) helped create this minimal landscape.

Rolandas Urbonavicius is an independent photographer based in Germany. Using black-and-white photography and long exposures, he captures the changing landscape as a reflection of human emotion. His “slow photography” approach creates a subtle, sometimes surreal atmosphere that invites reflection. Rolandas Urbonavicius’ photographs have been widely recognized and awarded in international competitions.
