The Forest of Silence

"The Forest of Silence” captures the illusion of a forest that does not exist. Shadows cast upon the wall create the shapes of trees and leaves, yet in reality, there is nothing—only a weathered wall and withered ivy remain. And yet, the light transforms absence into presence, making us believe that the forest is quietly alive. This work reflects the distance between memory and reality, and the melancholy beauty that emerges within that gap.
