This body of work takes color as its central theme. Color is the primal language of vision. Even without knowing the language of color, we already understand it. I have sought to express how color precedes words—how it colors the world and gives form to it. Using seasonal flowers and leaves as motifs, I devoted myself to capturing color guided by intuition.
I had studied mathematics in the graduate school, and I am working on abstract art. My main theme is the logic of Ku which is the attempt to explain the world and human being existence in Buddhist thought.
