We grow a dual relationship with the cities we live in: cultural and visual identities often make us proud and grow in us to become an integral part of who we are, while the ongoing frustrations of living in pressuring and crowded environments sometimes consume us from inside. London is among many large capitals visually exhibiting these contradictions. Londoners can be proud of a unique Victorian Architecture which blends with modern upgrades. Yet, infrastructure has reached peak capacity and the flow of vehicles is constant on main roads, in an organic atmosphere supported by blood vessels.
As a visual artist and photographer, my inspiration is intimately connected to my passion for travel. I am lucky to have lived internationally and discovered diverse cultures. This has shaped my photographic expression to an unexpected paradox: the exploration of contrasts between the gentle and abstract beauty lying in Nature, compared to rich and overloaded urban environments.
