The Summons is a five-part visual sequence exploring memory, grief, and emotional inheritance. Inspired by my grandfather’s call to war, the series moves through rupture, aftermath, and the quiet return of beauty. Flowers act as timekeepers—unchanged, blooming across generations. Their colour resists forgetting. There is no such thing as peace, only aftermath. Each image is a fragment of remembered time, asking how nature holds what we try to let go.
