Sagittarius is a Portuguese trawler based in Peniche. This photo essay follows its cycle of arrival, unloading, and departure, tracing the fishermen’s daily rhythm between sea and shore. From docking maneuvers and the heavy labor of the hold, to crates carried toward the auction, the images reveal both effort and endurance. Intimate portraits — the captain at the helm, the crew gathered together — place human faces at the center of the story. The series closes with the vessel departing once more, followed by gulls, echoing the eternal cycle of return and departure.
