It is the memory of a country that no longer exists, with its thousand beauties. A cultured, welcoming, deeply religious people, yet at the same time respectful of other cultures. A country where Aramaic was still spoken, and one could hear the Lord's Prayer being prayed as Jesus taught us. Places brimming with history and monuments now shattered, like the lives of the Syrians, destroyed by the power games of war.
