Japanese local horse racing is captivating not only for its traditions and community ties but also for its thrilling dead heats. At small regional tracks, spectators can feel the intensity up close as horses and jockeys battle fiercely before their eyes. The dedication of local horses, trainers, and riders radiates passion, creating suspense where the outcome remains uncertain until the very last moment. I captured the dramatic dead heat on the final stretch with a striking panning shot.

I take pictures of landscapes, night views, animals, and sports in Japan. Especially in sports, I mainly take panning shots.
