Signaling the impending sunset, the first shadows appear on foreground rock formations near the historic Split Rock Lighthouse, Minnesota (USA). The lighthouse opened in 1910 and is a prominent landmark on the North Shore of Lake Superior.

I have loved the art of photography since discovering, as a young teen, the wonders of my father's Pentax Spotmatic. I enjoy traveling to capture interesting images of landscapes and the natural world.
