The Nagoya Port Building in Nagoya, Japan, is a 63-meter structure designed to resemble a white sailing ship and serves as a beloved landmark of the port. Rather than capturing it simply as architecture, I chose to photograph it from the perspective of a crew member boarding a vessel. By framing the entrance bridge as part of the composition, the scene conveys not just the towering presence of the building but also the story of embarking on a voyage.
