This project is mainly shot in the evening and late at night. With my past experience in the design industry, I'm used to extracting the formal patterns and color blocks I want from real - world scenes. Meanwhile, it aims to capture the scenes after people's intensive daily activities during the day. The project observes from a perspective away from the event center, extracting materials more detached and calmly. When night falls, light and atmosphere gradually deviate from reality. I start to capture slices of the sleeping city and the display of different regions' customs at night.
I once worked in clothing pattern design. From 2018 to the present, I have been engaged in landscape installation design and creation for a long time. During my long - term career, I gradually found the formal subjects and spiritual core that I want to shoot. Long - term business trips have allowed me to often go deep into different cities for observation. Abstracting the color fragments and cultural cores of different regions has driven me to start my current long - term project.
