This photo project is a look at Tokyo from the outside and from the inside. It is a city that breathes neon and silence, speed and tranquility. Every frame is a meeting of contrasts: ancient shrines among glass towers, street fashion in alleys where time seems to have stopped, and fleeting moments that slip away like a subway station in a train window. I tried not just to capture Tokyo as it used to be seen, but to capture its moods — the morning freshness in Yoyogi Park, loneliness in a capsule hotel, a flash of light in Shibui Alley, the thoughtfulness of a passerby in the rain.
