Yancheng Library combines modern design with cultural tradition. For example, the Tinghu District Library features digital tools like waterfall-style book displays and reading booths, as well as 24-hour study spaces. The library is designed with the idea of a "book sail." Its facade uses glass curtain walls and perforated aluminum panels to create the image of stacked books.
