I’m Going Upstairs

I took this picture with a smartphone in Dublin. As many other photographers, I’m fascinated by staircases. This one, concealed in the back of a pub, connects the first and the second floor. It retained my attention because of its form and its decoration that made me think of a staircase out of a Harry Potter’s tale.

Former biologist and painter I am a passionate amateur photographer. Born in Italy, I now live in France. Everything I know about photography is self-educated. Internet research, inspiration from the works of other photographers and some kind advices from professional photographers helped me to progress. And, of course, a lot of work and patience trying things out. I have experimented photographing in all sorts of genres, from landscape to portraits and architecture. I am continuously trying to learn more about how to express myself through my work.
