Three trees in the fog – seemingly lost, but still connected. The panorama shows a quiet scene where shapes and atmosphere are more important than details. The composition thrives on the interplay of clarity and veiling: visible and distant at the same time.
I combine photography and nature to create images that speak a silent and mystical yet haunting language. I prefer realistic images that appear natural and subtle and represent landscapes without alterations in order to remind the viewer of the beauty of nature without detours via abstraction. I describe myself as a “light painter”. I capture the subtle nuances of light to create works that show the beauty and depth of nature in a unique form of artistic expression. I mainly use a large-format analog camera to immerse in the deep silence of nature to capture a genuine vision of reality.
