Pursued by thoughts about the meaning of human life and one's true purpose, me and my best friend embarked on a grand journey through Japan in an attempt to find something. And we both did find it. Something important, different for each of us. Have you ever looked at the sun and started crying? What if the crying wasn't caused by the light's brightness and the reason was more profound but also so fleeting that you couldn't realize it? Through the lens I captured simple scenes evoking inexplicable overwhelming emotion; in this series I present photos I took in Aomori, the middle of our trip.
