If you spend enough time walking around Sea Point you might just be lucky enough to bump into Jacky. The first time I met her, she was wearing a blazer, a beautiful afro, and holding a teapot. I later found out she is homeless, and carries her belongings in the teapot. Jacky sleeps on a bench near the Sea Point swimming pool, swims every day, and takes life as it comes. Raw and full of energy, she insisted that I photograph her even as tears ran down her cheeks.
