Imsouane was once a sleepy Moroccan fishing village now turned into surfing mecca, for better or worse. Speaking of the latter, the image is now impossible to recreate because the blue building was demolished, and you can expect some yoga resorts popping up in its place. Still, Imsouane has one of the longest waves on Atlantic’s east coast, and the place is mesmerizing. remember that shot like it was yesterday. I went for breakfast when I noticed two vividly blue buildings with morning light protruding between them, and 2 surfers getting their first waves of the day.
