Socotra is a remote island where nature reigns in its purest form. With unique biodiversity, surreal landscapes, and no trace of modern life, it feels like another world. Life here is simple: tents, campfires, starry skies, no internet. The island’s welcoming communities live by ancient rhythms and traditions. Socotra isn’t just a trip—it’s a return to nature, to slowness, to yourself… and once you’re there, you won’t want to leave.
I approached photography many years ago, initially to take photos during trips or special occasions. But then I felt the need to go beyond, to understand what photography truly meant. This led me to study at the Academy of Luciano Perbellini, a journey that completely transformed my approach to photography. Today, I don’t photograph just to capture a memory, but to express myself. Through images, I try to convey what words cannot say. I photograph because it makes me feel good; it’s my way to slow down, listen to myself, and observe the world around me.
