The Asian Representation and Beauty

When we think about the Asian representation, we can approach it from some point in the relationship: the Orientalism, imagined “Asians”and each real nations in Asian areas, physical and psychological distances between the Asian representation and individuals tackling this issue. So the Asian representation is a multilayered theme including connection and tension. I try to express not only issues related to this representation but also a form of beauty in such a representation through the reflection, a photographic subject through the glass, and the complex of geometrical patterns.
