Etienne C.L. van Sloun, Maastricht NL, 1946 Early on, he began shooting. He can also recall almost no period of his life without a camera. On the advice of Werner Mantz, he attended the photographic study at the Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Photographie in Munich, then he studied for several years graphics at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Beginning 70 he established himself as a freelance advertising photographer in Maastricht. After several years he went along with fellow photographers and for years ran a photography studio in Maastricht. Now he is autonomous.
