During the preparation of a photo shooting in my studio I made a series of tests photos, turning this in one of my favourites. The intent was to make a low key image, minimalist and enhancing the expressiveness and character of the portrait.

My name is José Miguel Angulo and I was born in Madrid in 1969. Aerospace engineer and photographer, I developed my professional career in the aviation sector in Spain, The Netherlands and Germany. Fully committed to support the wildlife ecosystem in Africa, I wish to contribute with my photography work to charity projects in the region to protect the wildlife and to support a sustainable development of the local Maasai community in Kenya. I work to produce soulful and evocative photos which immerse the viewer into incredible scenery, conveying emotions of unique moments.
