“LIU FANG MAZU Change Dwelling Place” is a traditional folk event in Yunlin, Taiwan. Instead of a fixed temple, Liu Fang Mazu is worshipped by rotating communities. Every year in the fourth lunar month, one of five villages hosts the goddess, builds a red altar, holds processions, and passes the statue to the next host. The event includes folk arts like puppet shows and rice turtle offerings, showing strong local culture. It is listed as a National Important Folk Cultural Heritage.
