Photograph taken in Baja California Sur, Mexico, during a marine safari in search of large sardine aggregations. We encountered a group of hunting sea lions. In this frame, one of them is clearly setting the boundary of how close we could approach, releasing warning bubbles directly in front of us. Since the action unfolded at high speed, I had to use a fast shutter speed to freeze the moment.
