I observed a grizzly bear mother with her two cubs feeding on grasses near Bow Lake in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. In this image, the cub’s sharp, prominent claws are already visible as it eats—a reminder that even at a young age, grizzlies possess the powerful adaptations that will aid them in foraging and survival as they mature.
