Lake Kerkini: A Haven For Wildlife.

Pelicans are surrounding our boat, waiting for us to throw them a fish. Lake Kerkini is located in northern Greece, in the region of Serres, near the border with Bulgaria. It is one of the country's most important wetlands and is protected under the Ramsar Convention. The lake is a popular destination for birdwatching and nature enthusiasts.
