A series of photographs taken during 2021 & 2022 in Amboseli (Kenya), at the end of the dry season, capturing some iconic creatures who live there, like some of the last big tuskers on Earth, in the vast and dusty plains under the mount Kilimamjaro. Trying to capture their soul and wild spirit in this unique environment and background.

My name is José Miguel Angulo and I was born in Madrid in 1969. Aerospace engineer and photographer, I developed my professional career in the aviation sector in Spain, The Netherlands and Germany. Fully committed to support the wildlife ecosystem in Africa, I wish to contribute with my photography work to charity projects in the region to protect the wildlife and to support a sustainable development of the local Maasai community in Kenya. I work to produce soulful and evocative photos which immerse the viewer into incredible scenery, conveying emotions of unique moments.
