I love experimenting with lighting because of how it changes the shape of the subject. Getting lost in the darkness of the negative space made it both minimalistic and powerful, with the reflection elongating my body. I didn't have a title until someone mistakenly thought it was a macro picture of a matchstick on fire, likely a result of how we first encounter most photos as thumbnails on our phones.
