Formol – Corpus mémoriel explores how the body can be preserved without being shown. Using an experimental device inspired by fiber optics, I record only the zones of skin contact, where pressure leaves a trace. The result is not a portrait or biometric data, but an organic imprint — fragile, tactile, and human. Echoing Cubism and the Japanese gyotaku, these images restore the skin’s materiality against the filtered aesthetics of social media, offering memory as archive and resistance.
