The Pact of Silence is a symbolic exploration of women’s inner worlds—where secrets, sacrifice, and silent agreements shape identity and transformation. Through recurring figures, gestures, and metaphors, the series follows a visual narrative of choices made, truths withheld, and fates rewritten. Each image is a fragment of a shared, unspoken pact—binding the viewer to witness the tension between revelation and restraint, between destiny and self-determination.

Irina Jomir (b. 1983, Chisinau) is an award-winning fine art photographer based in Norway. Her work explores the feminine, psychological depth, and human complexity through a blend of art history and contemporary aesthetics. She won the Women United Art Prize, 1st Place at the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, and was named Photographer of the Year at BIFA 2023. Her work is held in the Chianciano Terme Art Museum and has been featured in 101 Art Books, One Eyeland, and Trierenberg Super Circuit among many others.
