This socio-anthropological project explores Calabrian ancestral rites, like Catanzaro’s Naca, as powerful acts of cultural resistance against stereotypes and globalization. While inspired by masters like De Martino and Teti, our project charts a new course. My work viewed rituals not as responses to adult crisis or vessels of memory and loss. My research innovates by centering the child's gaze. This shifts the analysis from the past to the future: the living transmission of culture. I documented continuity and vitality of rituals through the unfiltered experience of its youngest inheritors.
