Kassandra´s eye. She is María Castillo de Lima. A complete artist on the opera scene in my country and around the world. María joined the Teatro Colón choir in 2010 as a tenor. Years later, after her gender transition, she became a dramatic soprano. María has both voices. She is unique in her gift. Creating the portrait of this version of ‘contemporary Kassandra’ meant interpreting the concept of prediction and desire that María felt throughout much of her life. She had seen and felt it. A duality that we decided to embody in this image.
