Open the window to reveal beauty, happiness, diversity and hardship in different daily lifes. Those candid photographs thrive on the unexpected and the unrehearsed. I tried to capture tribal people in their natural state. Tribes all have in common an enviable understanding of nature and the relationship with their surroundings. However, their future is uncertain as globalisation is reducing this diversity. These shots show how they actually live, laugh, feel and express themselves. Some of the images are candid and spontaneous, while others are posed but seek to expose an inimitable moment.

Self-taught photographer and passionate traveler. I discovered my passion for photography during traveling African countries. I had developed a fascination for tribes. This has been underpinned by my passion for photography. Tribal people are those who have unique customs. They often have a symbiotic bond with the environments in which they live. I am using photography as a medium to capture candid moments as well as community spirit and portraits.
