Environmental Portrait_ jazz in my veins Portraits capturing improvisation, involvement and energy but also the depth of moments, in the jazz club and rooms, which recalls records and stories.
About me and my photos ’ I am Sicilian, from Syracuse. I feel like I'm constantly evolving and I don't like to fit into just one definition. My photos reveal a state of transition, liminal, crossing into an interior non-place, from which to observe differently. In my photography, I use an intimate approach and high-contrast black and white that derive from my Sicily of ostentatious mourning, of the sacred and superstition, of the wine-colored sea, of life and death, of abandonment and return, back to my roots.
