Flashpoint is a cycle about personal reactions to experiences that act like splinters—provoking unrest, forcing action. Photography is my response and remedy—it soothes, heals, and eases the inflammation. These images are not random; they document emotions and inner processes. My flashpoints stem from the past, fears, the passage of time, longing, detachment from nature, war, illness, aggression, and most importantly—relationships.
